DM Ben currently plays the poor man’s sound game in our work campaign by finding in-game sound effects and music on YouTube and sorta forcing them to work “in the moment.” It’s a haphazard approach that leaves a lot to be desired. The extra DM game prep with this old-school is also clumsy. Certainly, there’s a better way.

Their August Kickstarter officially went live on 8-20 and runs through 9-17 with plenty of tantalizing stretch goals for all its loving TTRPG backers. The goal of this RPG Kickstarter is a good one: improve upon their already slick Fantasy+ streaming service while continually building upon their professional dashboard for Dungeon Masters everywhere.

Welp, as you know, we like to make a lot of free one-shot DnD encounters, 3D-printed Wandering Monster tables, and campaign settings here at 3DRPG, so we thought we would pull a few examples from our blog archives to see if we can swap our make-shift YouTube sounds for Monument Studios’ professional audio clips.
