We had a bit of a Beatles music vibe running around our heads today so this print definitely fits the marquee.
It’s a wonderfully done walrus by EC3D Designs from their super Wilds of Wintertide set which is just chalked full of various snowy heroes, villains, animals, and scatter terrain for your RPG table.
We did end up sizing him down a tad so that he covered a 3×3 d20 area. That coverage is still a bit big as we typically try to keep things at 2×2 gridded squares. The base is what’s bulking up our long-toothed friend but that’s what really sells the piece here.
Aren’t those tusks just fantastic? That’s what really makes him look so darn menacing to us and probably something the party shouldn’t poke as it were.
Our 3DRPG game group hasn’t done too many cold campaigns (as of yet) so we were pretty curious about this lumbering fella’s stats. There are several DnD 5e stat blocks out there but we liked 5E SRD’s the best.
Now, after looking at this magnificent marine mammal, we’re going to have to think of some way of incorporating him into a campaign sooner rather than later. DM Ben could do an unexpected, temporary portal that takes them to a floating ice cap inhabited by yours truly. Or, maybe this could be a polymorph mini?!
How would you incorporate this 3D-printed mini into your game? Share a comment with us on our public Facebook group (Facebook.com/DnD3DPrints)!
