Greetings, fellow gamers! You survived yet another knuckle-dragging workweek, and you’re being rewarded with a full weekend of dice-throwing. We’ve got some off-the-shelf spotlight because every hobbyist sometimes needs a little break.

Cities Reforged Tudor Village was a Gamefound project that went live on 7-22-25, giving Dwarven Forge enthusiasts a chance to grab precious pieces from the original release. Despite the higher price point, which we simply deem you get what you pay for, their web store is never fully stocked. Hence, the best way to get exactly what you want is through these annual Kickstarters. The bummer is that fulfillment typically takes 10 to 16 months-ish. Patience and Dwarven Forge always go hand in hand.

Our first featured piece is this amazing LED Lowtown Lamppost! We adore this light-up scatter, and few do LED terrain better than Dwarven Forge. They’re making this feature a core offering in many of their Kickstarters these days, and for good reason. Our miniature helps show the piece’s scale: it centers on a 2×2 d20 set of squares and is about 2.25″ tall. A discreet on/off switch sits on the side.

Next are these flowered plants intended to spruce up any outdoor scene. They’re vibrant and filled with eye-candy details. We paint enough resin and FDM in our lives to always get the pre-painted pledge. It’s sooooo satisfying to open up some fresh boxes and know they’re instantly game-ready.

Nate, their Chief Creative Officer, would be the first to tell you that modularity is a core principle at Dwarven Forge. Mixing and matching accessories has been a major focus over the past two years and is front and center in their exciting new offering coming in late October 2026 (more on that below). They often put some of their scatter on metal pegs, with small holes where you can slot different elements into the bases. This design is frickin’ fantastic and incredibly handy as you make new DnD layouts.

Lastly, this set includes all sorts of fun greenery in a variety of colors to maximize your gameboard presentation. Here are a couple of their planters and shrubs. And this is just a portion of their dressing and scatter from the Cities Reforged Tudor Village offering.

Another reason we wanted to shift content gears with today’s post is to encourage y’all to check out their upcoming Perilous Frontiers Gamefound, which goes live on Tuesday, 10-27-26. This is a huge release because it’s two-plus years in the making and features tons of brand-new sculpts across two core terrain themes: ice and desert.
We embrace everything when it comes to Dungeons and Dragons – 3D printed or not! Variety is the spice of life, right, gang?! Don’t hesitate to treat yourself once in a while and enjoy all the amazing creators out there.
Until next time!
