Loan Rangers Pawn Shop P2

Yesterday, we added another colorful shop to our bustling Waterdeep capital city. Now we’re going to sharpen up the proprietor details of this “credible” establishment!

We’ve already determined our storefront/NPC names and selected our scatter terrain centerpiece, but who owns and operates this churning treasure-mart business? We need to pick the miniatures and face cards to seal the deal.

Let’s start with our miniature selections: we need two ranger-style figs, so DM Ben decided to run his mini-picking fingers through his prepainted collection. This Human Ranger from Pathfinder Battles Heroes and Monsters immediately came to mind! We also pulled cloaked Deepshadow Elf from Wizkids’ Giants of Legend classic set.

To put some faces to our Elven brother and sister duo, we went to our Pathdinfer face cards collection and nabbed these two portraits. Elara Silversong is the financial brains of the outfit and is a brilliant negotiator. Her brother, Lorcan, is the muscle and goes out of his way to intimidate patrons and ensure nothing goes awry inside their shop. They often play a game of good cop, bad cop when adventurers attempt to pawn off their recent dungeon crawl spoils.

Next up, we need to populate their store with a couple of items (so that the adventurers will want to return). Also, DM Ben always likes to introduce a starting side mission with new NPC so that he can get an NPC connection going with the game group. We’ll come up with those items next time!
