Even a die-hard D&D player gets a little burnout when it comes to traditional monsters like Orcs, Goblins, Kobalds, Trolls, Ogres, etc. As a DM, you are continuously trying to induce shock and awe in your campaign so that means keep ’em guessing when it comes to the next battle!
Let’s see how Brite Minis lends a hand with their Frogfolk miniatures. Their monthly Patreon is an absolute steal at $5.20 per month which typically comes with 8-12 releases in a given period. They print support-free on either FDM or resin and we’ve 3D printed them in both formats with excellent, hassle-free results on our Prusa and Mars Pro printers.
They’ve actually released four different slimy sculpts so far but we just got these three back from our resident painter, “Kimmy Utah” so we couldn’t resist sharing. A fly should be entering stage left any minute now!
There’s just so much detail jammed into our leaper crew here: front and back! We’re also quite the nerdy tribe here so we always look to see how they took a model detail and turned it into a non-descript support. Brite Minis offers a plain round or square base option. We always go round and then just have our painter drop in a little subtle earthy equivalent terrain touch.
It’s hard to pick a favorite sculpt here but we’re going with the Frogfolk spearman because of the subtle head tilt and big ol’ extended webbed foot! Which one do you like the most?!
