Our DnD hobby is swamped with all sorts of good (and bad) gaming accessories so let’s focus on a fav for your newer players and overwhelmed DMs.
Total Party Chill came to us in a Facebook ad and thank goodness they did! They’ve released a glorious accessory that can just be so darn handy in a pinch during any game sesh.
This 5e Player Matte is described as an “All-in-One Gaming Companion” for anyone who doesn’t want to slow down their sessions thumbing through a book or tablet to find a quick answer to the most common D&D questions.
It’s made from Made of 100% polyester front and 100% natural rubber backing. So it looks and feels like a big ol’ mousepad and is easy to transport. Its measurements are 31.5″ x 15.5″ (80cm x 39.4cm).
It has all sorts of handy info that comes up all the time during gameplay yet the specific rules often slip our minds.

They have both a 5e version (in black, red, or scroll colors) and even as a Pathfinder 2nd Edition mat.
It’s such a brilliant idea so our hope is they come up with a DM-specific one (although a lot of the info on this one helps both the dungeon master and the players).
