Give That Print a Cigar

Friday grab bag! As you probably saw from earlier Facebook posts, the 3DRPG gang had an absolute blast at the 2023 Game On Expo in Phoenix this year. Was it better than Fan Fusion 2023? Yeeeeep. There were just way more engaging vendors and activities specifically for us RPG D&D folk.

We made quite the haul by doing a classic serpentine-booth-walk throughout the vendor hall to ensure we didn’t miss a single thing. Sure, our feet were just barkin’ 6 hours later but the sacrifice was worth it! Nevertheless, Ben had promised that we would do some nicer reviews of our new-found stash so here we go-go…

This old cigar box instantly caught our eye as we feel we never have enough storage for all our D&D bits and bobs. Sadly, we can’t link to the vendor we think we purchased this from because their website appears to be down right now but we’ll circle back once we know for sure who this brilliant creator was.

When you open it up, you have this really mysterious backdrop on the inside of the lid and the box itself is lined with smooth black felt. Ben likes to surprise his girlfriend each night with a couple of prints after dinner so this new “bag of holding” fits the bill perfectly. Click the image above to see the full box.

Our new box also had this really cool clasp which gave it a tantalizing Rogue vibe. Isn’t that cool?! The box closes securely and could definitely be portable. DM Ben might even use it as his traveling dice box/tray for our travel games.

So you can see that this old cigar just had all the right RPG feels. One man’s trash definitely became another man’s D&D treasure!
