Miniature Monday! Inglorious Rat Bastard

We’re going rascally rodent for today’s installment of Miniature Monday! This one’s just packing a little holiday weight is all. 😉

We’re tapping Set 2 of the must-download set of Beasts & Baddies by EC3D Designs. Once again they’re support-free and can be run on either your FDM or Resin printer.

This dire disease-carrying-vermin is a mighty foe as he covers 2×2 d20 squares. DM Ben considers her the boss in the final sewer showdown battle.

Not sure if it’s that lonnnng pink tail, those oozing puss spots, the sharp pointy claws, or that cocky snout, but there’s nothing friendly about this gnawing foe! She’s definitely going to be a problem for the party.

So this rat attack got DM Ben thinkiin’, what will this unenvious encounter look like when the time comes to draw swords…it’s certainly not going to be pretty, that’s for sure!

D&D Beyond’s official giant rat is a bit underwhelming with AC 12 and just 7 HP and really only works for a novice adventuring party or a battle that would include a lot of rat swarms. Our freshly painted mini needs some more heft to truly intimidate its enemies.

This killer article has all sorts of different gnawer content including a nasty full stat block for a Rat Queen!
