Greetings, fellow DnD travelers! Meet anyone fun and interesting on your latest journey to your next destination? Oh, you did? Well, how cool was their miniature? No worries, we’ve got options for days in a brand-new ongoing series, perfect for players and DMs alike.

Longtime 3DRPG readers know that we really are clinically obsessed with non-player-character-miniatures. Like, seriously – send help. Then it dawned on us that we really don’t have, but should have, a recurring DnD weekly blog post recognizing new NPC 3D prints you can drop into your TTRPG game as your own DnD scenarios summon them forth. Well, time to fix that!

Fittingly, today’s featured creator is no stranger to the big, bright, beautiful world of NPCs. EC3D Designs has graced us with numerous fabulous Kickstarters to help grow our RPG miniature obsession. Besides being supportless and a single STL (including the base), Evan does fantastic work. We’re pulling two 3D prints from his Everyday Heroes Kickstarter, which is 100 percent worth a late pledge.

Let’s start with this brave, human male Ranger. We especially love his pose here, as it gives that ‘go-ahead-and-dare-me’ stance. Sunrise Sven did the coloring on this itchy arrow finger fella, and we think he just nailed it. The flowing locks and let’s-go facial expression are just so frickin’ great. And even if you didn’t use him as a player character or NPC, he would make a great ranged human bandit.

Next up is this dressed-to-the-nines human male Druid. Sunrise Sven did double painting duty here and colored up this detail-stuffed woodsman. The headgear and rock-hard abs are our favorite details here, but that kilt of his is just as epic. Our WotC-prepainted minis library was shockingly low on Druids, so this new style was a welcome sight.

Now that we’ve got two fresh DnD miniatures right off the resin printer, let’s assign some creative personas so these guys can get in your TTRPG sooner rather than later.
We hesitate to list specific stats here because it truly depends on the party’s overall level. Our favorite NPC stat generator is MonsterShuffler.com. It’s a really slick interface and incredibly easy to use. This DnD online tool also lets you save each pregenerated NPC as an image and even allows you to log in and make tweaks to the stats (as long as you have an online account).
Until next time!
