Miniature Monday!

We continue to prep for the next travel stage of our office work campaign. Our rag-tag group of adventurers will soon be doing a fun series of outdoor encounters as they navigate the wilderness between Waterdeep and Phandalin.

Last week we shared a couple of cool NPC character cards from Loke Battle Mats: The Long Road set. So now we need to pair the right figs to the right faces. Today we’ll show you how we did just that for the fella in the top left: also known as Mimford Fugelfort of NewCastle Imports Exports. He’s a greedy, heartless, delusional, and rich mega merchant who probably belongs behind bars (sound familiar?)…or maybe he’s just misunderstood. 😉

This mini from STL Miniatures Guild Masters set instantly fits the part. Our big businessman mini has huge eyebrows, a curvy mustache, a big belly, and a black cape. He was an early resin print before we got our process down, so his hand came out a little wonky. But this is where one simply adapts – turns out our cheating conman severely injured his hand in a business deal gone bad. So, now he has a hook hand…perfect, right?!

We especially love how the fluttering cape just sings for this sculpt. A shoutout to “Utah Kim,” our 3D print painter, on such an amazing job! Next week we’ll pick out the hired henchman for the pending roadside ambush!
