We seem to be on a bit of a bar kick right now but that’s not necessarily a bad thing is it? Nah. We got a fun, new scatter terrain piece for ya to deploy so pull up a chair, grab an ale on us, and enjoy the show.
This terrain spotlight shines brightly thanks to the incomparable crew over at Infinite Dimensions Games. Their buildings and scatter terrain are just on another level, y’all. We’re really into the DnD 5e Bard class these days so when we saw this set from IDG, we knew it was a must-acquire.
This is “The Stage” set and it comes with two pieces: the main stage spans 5×3 d20 squares (the perfect size in our opinion) and a smaller little dressing room (adorable). And once again, no supports needed as everything printed like a champ on our Prusa Mini FDM printer.

So this new-found grandstand got us to thinkin’, how would we incorporate a theater-style scatter terrain piece into our own game? Welp, a couple ideas come to mind including:
Also, here are a few follow-up reads we encourage you to check out including this great Reddit thread discussion and this “5e bards’ missing songs” by the gang over at BlogofHolding.com. Let’s put our new 3D-printed stage to good use!
