Greetings, fellow sand sifters! It’s our last DnD post of the week as we all get ready for a glorious three-day holiday weekend! Let’s kick off your gaming bliss with a fun 3D print that fits like a glove in your Egyptian campaign.

We love miniature mounts for our 3D prints. Like, it’s just a hoot to plop your mini on another to giddyup and go wherever the desert breeze takes thee! We’ve featured several animal versions here on 3DRPG, and now we’ve got a big one that’s perfect for your tomb setting.

Walking long distances under the blazing desert sun is just a bad idea. So, even if you know you’re close to finding your long-lost tomb, you’re probably going to need a local guide and a ride at some point. We were also astonished at how few printed pachyderms we had for the game. That TTRPG miniature library misstep needed to be corrected ASAP.

Enter good ol’ Mia Kay, who also goes by M3DM on MyMiniFactory.com. When we started our 3D printing hobby adventure many moons ago, Mia was one of the very first creators we encountered. She had all sorts of free 3D prints on her Thingiverse profile, and we grabbed every single STL we could. So, this mighty War Elephant isn’t free these days, but it’s still a deal at $2.

Resident Painter Kimmy Utah answered the color call here and helped get this fierce beast to our game table. We added a standard D&D miniature so you could better gauge the Elephant’s size here. As expected, this one spans a 3×3 set of d20 squares. We love Kim’s gray body color, and DM Ben hopes to emulate it on some other tusker miniatures. We also love the binding details on its legs and those deadly tusks! And don’t even get us started on how perfect she did the eyes.

Here’s a sideview and backside view so you can see the details from all angles. So frickin’ cool, right?! We loved this one so much that now we’ve got our eyes on a couple of similiar STL files from EC3D Designs’ Empire of the Scorching Sands Kickstarter to ultimately add to our trunk lineup.
Until next time!
