We’re back from another year of Game On Expo here in sunny Phoenix, AZ. Let’s briefly share how that Con went and then meet our latest Train Raider crew member and learn why she’s such a bad a$$.
As we mentioned last week, we hopped over to Game On Expo 2025, so here’s our quick take on this year’s Con. It seemed like there was definitely less foot traffic and what felt like even fewer RPG vendors. Last year, the Con was held over Spring Break, so the crowds were insane. This year, it was held a bit earlier in the year, so we get why there weren’t as many gamers (at least on the opening day we went).
We did acquire a couple of cool RPG finds, but boy howdy, it was slimpickens. Too many vendors were selling the same things: candles, stickers, soap, shirts, coasters, and patches. Sadly, DnD-specific and 3D-print items were few and far between this time. Sometimes that’s just the way the d20 rolls. We made up for it, though, by picking up a PS5 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on our way home. 😉
Anyways, let’s talk pirates! Guys can’t have all the fun, right?! The realm is chock-full of dastardly lady pirates who swing mighty swords that rival many male crew members. Besides, let’s be honest – female buccaneers are cunning and fierce like no other.
Hence, our glee when we 3D-printed this supportless she-pirate by EC3D Designs. This female swashbuckler is from their wicked-good Depths of the Savage Atoll set. You just can’t go wrong with this series. Print ’em all, baby!
Resident painter Kimmy Utah took brush to 3D-printed miniature for us on this piratey goodness and just crushed it. The flowing blonde locks, the mighty sword, the high boots, and those muscular arms are all on display for her frightened Hovertrain passengers to see!
Now, let’s get to the particulars of our newest loveable lass.
Seraphina doesn’t say much unless someone gets in her business. Then she lets her lightning-fast blade rain down on her enemies.
Until next time!
