Train Raiders: The Cutter

TGIF only means one thing here at 3DRPG Studios in sunny Chandler, AZ! It’s time to meet another member of the Train Raider pirate crew! Proceed with caution because this salty sea dog carries a big stick.

We’re really starting to get a nice mix of pirates and roles within the crew. However, dastardly fighting skills ultimately reign supreme for a successful train raiding squad, so its foot soldiers matter the most (or there’s no plunder to be had).

We go right back to the well and EC3D Designs for today’s featured 3D print. Their Depths of the Savage Atoll Kickstarter is just a treasure trove of supportless miniatures that we most definitely need on our RPG shelves in every way.

Resident painter Kimmy Utah grabbed her best bristles and delivered a totally vibin’ privateer! All the choice colors fit perfectly and just convey an imposing presence for anyone who dares cross him. Those oversized boots, his big belly, shiny head, gold loop earrings, and, most importantly, his absurd sword are the total pirate package.

The Captain always needs a few beefy brutes by his side…some shifty scallywags he can summon for intimidation purposes or to quickly strike down opposing foes. We love the idea of this particular pirate swinging an oversized cutlass that could drop an enemy combatant in a single blow.
