Christmas crawls a few more d20 squares closer, y’all! Did you order your DnD presents from our 2025 Gift Guide yet? If not, the shipping clock tick-eth. Besides, poor TTRPG planning is sure to get you a seat in today’s dandy 3D print!

Look, if being obsessed with 3D printing and painting wagons of any sort for our DnD campaigns is a crime, then we confess. We love this type of rolling TTRPG scatter terrain. Often, the biggest challenge is finding STLs that don’t come in multiple parts and are an absolute pain to glue together. Welp, thank goodness there are still a few creators out there who know their way around a wagon wheel.

Enter longtime 3D-print favorite, Infinite Dimensions Games. Their file release pace may have slowed a tad in 2025 due to a much-needed breather, but their brilliant library of work still speaks for itself. We’ve 3D printed countless files from their terrific Culbridge Cull series. Today’s spotlight shines brightly on their superb Prisoner Wagon.

No-eyes, no-problem here, so DM Ben grabbed a paint brush for this rolling lockbox. Besides, another reason we love making more wagons is that the colors are very straightforward.
All these picks are established, tried-and-true colors, so it feels good to have zero paint pot paralysis. We’ve even experimented with alternate wood colors, because why not?

Now, a very natural scenario would be for the party to intercept and ambush this rumbling cart on the road while it transports fresh inmates to a high-security jail. So, our new Prisoner Wagon is built for these kinds of gameboard moments. You can place a miniature on the back and top of this wheeled scatter terrain with ease. Tactics options abound!

You can even place a couple of miniatures right inside the wagon and plop the lid on, in case you don’t want the group to know who or what might be inside. Somehow, we forgot to paint the cart door, so we’ll certainly circle back and get that one done.

And the best part, you can 3D print it in FDM as a single file and with a reasonable number of supports. No fuss, no muss, baby!
As we mentioned at the top, we’re cart-aholics. Here’s a quick recap of previously featured medieval transports:
And we’re far from done, goblin gals and gnome gents! We have several carts entering the primer stage, and a bunch are also currently in the masterful hands of resident painter Kimmy Utah. And don’t even get us started on what sort of creatures are going to pull all our newfound wagon wealth!
Until next time!
