Terrain Tuesday! Pop-up Print

Tents galore in this week’s outdoor scatter terrain masterpiece. Let’s take a closer look!

This tent comes from Milestone Heroes and their Scatter Pack 12 release (from March of 2023). There were actually three nifty shelters from that set but we pulled out this single-adventurer abode to share with everyone.

What DM Ben likes about this piece is that it has the perfect make-shift-canopy-look and that fits snugly as to how a typical adventurer might need to set up in a pinch. A bedroll, a lantern, a tarp, a barrel off their cart, etc – that’s all gear one might have with them on their journey.

Here’s a cool shot from the backside of the STL. DM Ben loves the different counterweight pieces on it too – so clever (and fun to paint). We printed this on our Prusa Mini and FDM and the folds of the tarp are still so on point! It didn’t need any supports either – Andrew, their lead modeler and founder, is that good.

Milestone Heroes has had a few release bumps lately (as of press time here on 11-21-23) so I would check their active Patreon posts before subscribing just to ensure they’re back on track and rolling steady again.
