Back to the EC3D Designs well we go again! Let’s see if we can convince you to add a little soothing harmony to some of your future Dungeons and Dragons encounters.
This 3D Thursday piece comes from their Hero’s Hoard series which is just stuffed full of all sorts of scatter terrain subsets that can work great on both resin and FDM printers. Be sure to peruse their site as we don’t know how you’ll resist adding a few of these collections to your 3D library.
So this organ is actually from the rad Religion and Faith HH subset and it instantly caught our ears. Naturally, any clerical House of Pelor is gonna have this instrument front and center.
Meant to be the center of attention, this baby is a bigger scatter terrain piece. We actually even nudged it down a tad during slicing to contain it width-wise to 3 d20 squares. Even getting it all in frame for a photo was a chore.
There’s also a little movie magic vibe coming from this DnD terrain piece as it reminds us of that ending scene in the original “Planet of the Apes” 1970 movie…so darn creepy!
So this 3D printed pipe organ got us to thinkin’ – how are we going to incorporate this baby into a future DnD encounter? Naturally, a Bard would gravitate toward this instrument and have to make some sort of a Performance roll (but any character within the party could do so).

Good ol’ Suetonius here is definitely missing his true calling as a Dungeons and Dragons writer, don’t ya think?
Lastly, we just had to know if there was any interesting pipe organ DnD lore out there and the Internet did not disappoint. Heward’s Mystical Organ is a massive, immobile pipe organ as tall as a cathedral. It is an artifact of tremendous power and great danger. Read more about it here.
