3D Thursday! Shark Bites!

In this edition of 3D Thursday, we reach back into one of our most favorite sets – EC3D Designs and the Depths of Savage Atoll!

This slippery when wet set has numerous shark men (three to be exact) but today we’re going to highlight the lead fin – “Shark Man C.”

Our resident painter, Kimmy Utah, outdid herself on this particular paint job. DM Ben even chipped in the partially wet base idea because teamwork makes the dream work, people. Plus, it’s always cool when a last-minute painting idea exponentially elevates your final mini.

And we love this finned enemy for all the right reasons: his fine duds, the big tail (complete with ring, mind you), the tough-guy fists, the long pirate saber, the toothy grin and on and on and on.

Another reason this particular aquatic fig probably spoke to us so much is that the 3DRPG team was late to the party on the fantastic One Piece comic and brilliant Netflix adaptation. We guess we just had too much dragon on the brain even though we all know, “Everything is better with pirates!”
