Oh buddy, do we have a scatter terrain treat for thee today! Our party has to sign a very important contract for their newly acquired Bastion, so we’ve 3D-printed this amazing Spectral Pact piece by Loot Studios! Let’s take a closer look.
Even in ye olde days, the pen was just as mighty as the sword. There have always been official kingdom marks, waxed seals, and fancy writing on parchment, so basically, contracts are as old as time. Thank goodness our 3D printer is up to the task!
Quick backstory: Our work campaign recently completed a monumental level-up task: eliminating a major villain for the one and only Omin Dran of Acquisitions Incorporated (whose free 5e module we are thoroughly enjoying). The ironclad agreement was pretty straightforward: Eliminate the witch, and the party will get her cabin and land in The High Forest as compensation.
So, now the group must receive the deed from TK421, their newly appointed Construct butler (another gift from Omin Dran – he’s such a pal). We’ve made item cards for the Cabin Deed and the slick Documancy Satchel magic item. However, DM Ben wanted a memorable event on signing day. Our team works at a Corporate office, and we’re all no strangers to insane amounts of paperwork. Hence, the actual signing of the deed needed to contain extra awesomeness.
That’s where this Spectral Pact scatter terrain 3D print by Loot Studios comes into play. This ghostly signature assist is from their must-have Pact of Greed set. We often nudge the scale of our prints to fill at least an entire d20 square, so we increased the size of this one a tad, which, by no coincidence, means it’s also easier to paint and see on the game table.
Resident painter Kimmy Utah graced us with her paintbrush wizardry here and did a magical job. There are so many details to love here. The hand poking out from the abyss, the endless unfolding paper, the inordinate amount of seals sprinkled throughout, and, of course, the sign-here-x. Brilliant.
The backside of the Spectral Pact piece is just as humorous. Great news if you happen to be the player sitting on the opposite side of the game table, but this also demonstrates Loot Studios’ exceptional attention to detail. We’re always so impressed with how much thought they put into crafting each new STL.
We especially love the color Kimmy Utah used to represent the hand appearing seemingly out of thin air. We have a Mage Hand mini by Brite Studios, and we think that lighter teal blue will look especially good!
We 3D-printed the Spectral Pact as a 2 x 1 d20 square piece. Since two of us in the group are VPs, and Acquisitions Incorporated continuously pokes fun at the Corporate world we live in, making this scatter terrain piece a bit oversized just adds to its comedy brilliance.
Our TTRPG Spectral Pact is destined to make numerous appearances in our DnD campaigns, so this 3D-printed scatter terrain is sure to get a lot of use (and laughs). Do you see a need for this magical clerk in your game? Certainly, someone needs to sign on that dotted line, right?!
