Fridays are the perfect day to meet a new member of the dastardly Train Raiders team! This time, we’re going down to the galley to see what the cook is preparing for his beloved crew!
Whenever DM Ben makes a Warband, things seem to go smoother when he starts by identifying roles for each crew member. This creative step helps him come off with clever NPC names and even pick the proper miniatures. So, let’s see what’s on the menu for today, ya squab!
Our delightful miniature selection comes courtesy of Brite Minis, a fantastic monthly Patreon for just $5. Couple that with no supports and a single piece (with base), and you’ve got yourself a winning subscriber formula!
Some insider baseball here: the creator designed this mini for an old work buddy who likes to sail and sing shanties. How can you not love this one even more?!
Kimmy Utah threw on her favorite pirate hat and colored up this thirsty seadog! This mini has all the right details – the green cap, weapons abound, baggy pants, and oversized ale mug!
Next, let’s create the charming details for the second member of the Train Raider crew:
Taters earned his nickname for the endless ways he can prepare a potato. An everyday ration on any ship, McGee needed to disguise the food staple as many ways as he could or face a mutiny at the dinner table!
Initially, we’re leaning into the pirate collections by Brite Minis and EC3D Designs with a cool clan from Printable Scenery after that, so there’s plenty more to come as we build a raucous crew of buccaneers to torment The Forgotten Rail Lines. And why is that? Come on now, say it with us, “Because everything is better with pirates!”
Until next time!
