Train Raiders: Meet the Muscle

Another Friday and another fierce fighter ready to join our DnD Hovertrain pirate crew! Let’s meet our first Turtleborn swashbuckler.

This will be the fourth member of the Train Raiders: Tusk the Trustful (treasurer), Taters McGee (cook), and Hank Morgan (Ale Meister) have already signed for some pillage and plundering. Today’s feature zeroes in on some hired swords, as a raiding party needs lots of muscle to hit paydirt.

This week’s miniature once again hails from EC3D Designs and their Depths of the Savage Atoll set. Why stop when we’re on a roll, right?! This seafaring set is one of our favs, so we just can’t help ourselves.

Resident Painter Kimmy Utah grabbed some brushes from her arsenal of color and went to work. Everything is in focus: the sash, ripped trousers, shimmering armor, and that big ol’ sword. Just love it.

Snap Jaw is all business on this Raider crew. He’s got a short fuse and never shows mercy on his victims. Sure, he’s a little slow but upright terrapin has some of the toughest natural armor in the biz.

DM Ben likes the idea of including several non-humans, like turtles, sharks, crabs, etc in the Hovertrain Pirates roving gang. Besides, this type of crew diversity is just darn cool, ya know?
