Hey, Hey, It’s Game Day (May 2025 P1)

We’ve got back-to-back Dungeons and Dragons sessions to close out May! This Friday, we’ll share what’s next in our home campaign, and then next Friday, we’ll share DM Ben’s plan for the work campaign. Let’s begin!

First, a quick refresher for first-time Game Day featurette readers. DM Ben manages a work game for all his office teammates and also runs the same campaign for his fam at home. Our office is ahead of the family in the adventure, so he’s fortunate enough to learn from one session and then be able to carry over any improvements to the other group.

Let’s start with a quick recap of what the home team cranked out last session:

• Area 9: Dragon (saved him | made him an ally)
• Area 10: Shrine of Destruction (Sergeant Teeshe didn’t survive)
• Fissure Dig Dug Home-brew P1 & P2 (three entries so far)

So the group fought an Otyugh (row 12) and had two other non-monster events. However, they haven’t rolled lucky 13 on the random encounter table, so they’re still trying to escape the underground Fissure.

Hence, much of DM Ben’s advanced prep we shared last month is still ready. The players still have a ton of options in front of them going forward:

• Continue on with Dig Dug P1 and P2.
• The Green Mist trap encounter
• Ewan McHook’s cellar
• Dock Ambush
• City Square Town Crier
• First Rescue Mission
• Huckle Riverstone NPC meet and greet
• Rishardo Montalwand NPC encounter

Eight fully prepped scenarios completely ready to go?! Is DM Ben dreaming? If so, please don’t wake him up. 😉
